MODEL MATZAH BAKERY COMES TO TUCSON

The world famous model matzah bakery has come to Tucson, after the ever successful Shofar factory and Olive Press- which was experienced by close to 800 Jewish children across the greater Tucson area, the traveling Matzah bakery has been receiving calls off the hook to book shows.

B’h and has been very successful and continues until just before Pesach

YHST SEES STARS

This past week the students of the YHST had the very unique opportunity to vist Kitt Peak.
Kitt Peak is a world famous observatory where a large amount of the worlds astronomy is reasearched.
It is located about 2 hours from Tucson tucked away approximately 5000ft on a mountain away from any city lights to ensure maximum stargazing capabilities.
The 5 hour exhibition began with sunset and various classes on astronomy and led to naked eye viewing as well as binocular viewing of the constellations and galaxies that we had just learned all about.
The last hour was dedicated to telescope viewing of various stars, the absolute highlight of the show was most certainly gazing through the telescope at the planet Saturn. the image seen by those present was so sharp it looked almost like it came straight out of a book.
And yes Saturn does really have a ring around it!
The lessons learned surely enhanced the attendees understanding of the Rambams Hilchos Kidush Hachodesh.

Mr David Cutler

Long time supporter and dear friend of Chabad Lubavitch of Tucson, Mr David Cutler joined the Bochrim for Mincha on Wednesday afternoon
Mr Cutler is also one of the founding members of the Yeshiva High School of Tucson, with his wisdom and true generosity he has helped to ensure the success of this great school.

FUN IN THE SUN

As temperatures soared into the mid 90's here in Tucson, the Talmidim were only too eager to make use of our beautiful facilities.

BASEBALL UNDER LIGHTS

After some great test results and excellent behavior, Our Rosh Yeshiva; Rabbi Wilschanski arranged and payed for a special night baseball game under lights.
The game was also a surprise birthday party thrown by Rabbi Wilschanski for Shluchim Moishe Orimland and Levi Lipskar.
